At 59 Belgrade Avenue in Roslindale, MA, we developed a residential project featuring 34 rental units with a common roof deck, providing residents with shared outdoor space and views of the surrounding neighborhood. The design incorporates a brick façade with bays that emulate the scaling of the row houses found further down the street, creating a harmonious connection with the existing architectural landscape.
In the opposite direction, the building draws inspiration from the articulation found in the brickwork of Roslindale Square, integrating subtle details that reflect the area’s rich architectural heritage. The brickwork introduces a slightly more modern approach to its patterning, adding contemporary flair while respecting traditional design elements.
This project exemplifies our ability to create residential developments that are sensitive to their urban context and community character. By blending traditional scaling with modern design touches, we have delivered a building that enhances the streetscape and contributes positively to the fabric of the Roslindale community.
